A memorial service will be held on April 2 from 13:00 to 15:00 at Primrose Bowling Club.
“Max was a dedicated member of this community. His reach went beyond any title or organisation. He crossed all social, racial and denominational lines and helped every person who came before him for help. He was a true leader and pioneer in community outreach,” said Tracy Enslin, Primrose CPF chairperson.
“As we mourn the loss of this colossal figure in our community, and in our lives, our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, staff and all those he had touched with his passionate heart and soul in Primrose and beyond.”
Community members are wearing orange in honour of Katz at Saturday’s memorial service.
