The TikTok sensation has drawn the attention of many fans and kept them entertained with his humorous videos, touching on several societal topics.

He records and edits his content before posting it on social media platforms. His latest video enjoys 12.5k views on TikTok.

Mpala recently appeared on SABC 1’s latest episode of Daily Thetha.

Dladla, as others would call him, is also a talented actor who often shares his knowledge with others through his organisation, Dawn Lights Entertainment.

Thubani Mpala, comedian and actor, finds innovative ways to market himself.

“Dawn Lights is an acting group where I guide people on how to act. We get together on Mondays and sometimes on weekends. I love performing for the audience and getting into character.

“If I had my way, I will do this type of work every day – acting classes or planning a play,” said Mpala.
Besides being on stage, he works for a delivery service and uses this as an opportunity to promote himself via his self-made marketing posters on his scooter.

The Zimbabwean-born is also a published author of Ngikhete Yena, a novel focused on love and romance.

He continues to draw inspiration from veteran Zimbabwean Zinjaziyamluma, an award-winning Maskandi artist, and Zimbabwean-born South African actor Ernest Ndlovu, best known for his role in Isibiya as Ngwebedla.
