Ndangeni decided to move to Gauteng in 2019 where he later joined the Diamond Elite Camp.

“My win at the Athletics Vaal Triangle meet last September assured me that I am capable of anything. I aim to win at the national trials. Then my focus will shift to the Olympics and world athletics championships.”
