Man dies in M2 crash

Russel Meiring from ER24 said paramedics arrived at the scene at around 04:00 to find a light motor vehicle had crashed against a wall and palisade fence.

A man, believed to be 25 years old, died when his vehicle crashed into a wall at the M2 off-ramp and the Refinery intersection in Germiston on (February 21).

Russel Meiring from ER24 said paramedics arrived at the scene at around 04:00 to find a light motor vehicle had crashed into a wall and palisade fence.

“A man was motionless in the driver’s seat. Medics assessed him and found he showed no signs of life.

Unfortunately, nothing could be done for him, and he was declared dead on scene.”

Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
