The care centre is an Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, frail and cancer care centre situated in Germiston.

Sasonah has been in operation since 2004 and is managed by Melanie Nunn.

“Sasonah Lodge Care Centre would like to ask the community to participate in our Tin Food Challenge. We would like to see which household can collect the most tinned food items,” Nunn said.

“All participants will be added to our group. On March 2 we will ask that you display your collected items in a row to be judged. The household with the longest row will receive a prize, which will be announced soon,” said Nunn.
The items collected will be dispersed amongst Sasonah Lodge Care Centre, Eden Angels and the Bedfordview and Germiston SPCA, if pet food is donated.

To donate or to join the challenge contact Nunn on 072 436 6207.
