Lambton residents spoil the elderly

LamDel Residents Association spread some Christmas cheer to the elderly on December 3 at the Majestic Restaurant in Lambton.
The elderly in the community were invited for tea and cake and received goody bags.
“As Lamdel, we wanted to appreciate our elderly in our community. It has been a difficult year for all of us but our elderly were more affected because they had to be more homebound as they are vulnerable.
“We wanted a day of fun and treat for them,” said resident’s association chairperson Jakkie Janse van Vuuren.
“Looking after our residents is important. When we request assistance from the elderly, they are always willing to give support. This was our way to say thank you,” said van Vuuren.
