Players from Imps Baseball Club took part in several games on November 7.

In the u-10 section the Benoni Indians faced Edenvale’s Imps and won 35 runs to 27 while Boksburg Cardinals B took on Cardinals A and lost 34-14.

The u-12 Apaches side faced Alex and lost 16-1 while Palm Ridge came out tops against the Badgers with 10 runs to eight.

Imps u-12 lost to Boksburg Cardinals 14-10.

In the u-15 section Boksburg Cardinals beat the Edenvale Imps 20 runs to nine while Benoni faced Palm Ridge and won 8-4.

Edenvale’s Imps u-18 side faced the Benoni Indians and narrowly lost 11-10 while Alex raked up a seven run win against Palm Ridge.

Ladies team Comets beat the Belles 17 runs to seven.

In the hotly contested senior’s tournament, Brewers lost to Acadeo 13 runs to 15.

Edenvale’s senior side Giants faced the Randburg Mets and walked away with a one run win.

The final game, Alex won 10-8 against Boksburg.

Edenvale’s baseball teams practise every Tuesday and Friday evening from 17:00 to 18:00 at the Edenvale Sports Grounds.

Players both girls and boys aged six to 18 are invited to join in the fun.

Games are played every Sunday morning.
