Eluchka Britz won a bronze medal in the President Division and Trevor van Loggenberg represented Ekurhuleni as well.

Madeleine de Beer represented Ekurhuleni as a medic during the tournament.

Lee-Ann Harmse was selected to participate but was forced to the sideline due to injury.

“For a six member club, this is a huge achievement. Covid-19 has kicked us down the last 18 months, but we kicked back.

“We went through tough times keeping the club open,” said de Beer.

“As a small team, we worked together to achieve the same goals.”
