Two await plea and trial for damage to property

Two arrested for malicious damage to property.

Primrose SAPS arrested two suspects for malicious damage to property at Mimosa Road in Primrose on October 23.

The complainant alleged that he was bathing when he heard a bang at the door.

When he checked, two men entered his place.

“While inside the residence, the two threw beer bottles and stones and damaged one of his big television screens.

The value of the damage amounted to R7 500,” said Sgt Styles Maome, Primrose SAPS communications officer.

The complainant reported the matter to the police and the men were arrested and detained at Primrose SAPS where they were charged for malicious damage to property.

“They appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where the case was postponed for a plea,” said Maome.
