Alfeco group assists student with bursary

The group has provided bursaries worth R2.8-million to over 50 higher education students.

Alfeco Group launched its inaugural bursary awards programme on September 2.

Ekurhuleni West TVET College (EWC) in Germiston student Lehlohonolo Ngubane was awarded a bursary.

Alfeco Business Strategy Group executive Neil Reddy said striving towards youth empowerment is important to them.

The group has provided bursaries worth R2.8-million to over 50 higher education students from the University of Johannesburg, EWC, the IIE’s Rosebank College and Monash South Africa and 15 internal staff.

EWC’s partnership manager, Manie Stoltz, said the awards programme provided hope for the students to carry on with their studies, even though they did not have the financial means.
