Hawk learners inspired to envision their future

It was important to come here today to inspire the learners about the future.

Abcon Group Foundation commemorated June 16 by inspiring the Grade 10 and 11 learners of Hawk Academy.

Abcon invited Limit Breakers Global Foundation for a career day and teen vision board and dialogue to help learners start planning their future and building on their visions.

Limit breakers is an NPO that empowers and provides access to mentorship, education and global empowerment programmes to those within previously disadvantaged communities.

“It was important to come here today to inspire the learners about the future. We acknowledge the youth of 1976 and the sacrifice they have made for all future generations to have a better and brighter future and as limit breakers. We wanted to help them get there through our programme of the vision board,” said founder Nokuthula Ndlovu.

She said it’s important to ignite dreams in young people because it allows them to be mindful of how they plan to reach those goals; the vision board allows them to plan.

“We guide the teens on how to begin defining their life goals and use these to create a vision board,” said Nokuthula.
