Matric learners from Hoërskool Vryburger High School had this to say:

Janaid Moodley: “As the new generation, we grew up as a united nation and we think differently. I vote to see a united front as this nation moves forward together. I vote to see better education for all.”

Lesego Mafagane: “Change is inevitable and we are faces of change. The youth voting enables them to have a voice, a voice to be heard tomorrow. We vote because we do not want that voice to be silenced and to eradicate corruption.”

Maishe Mahlatsi, RCL president:”All we need is education to better ourselves. I am voting to see learners in marginalised areas get the same opportunities of education as urban-area learners.”

Evelyn Kwafapa:”We are the up-and-coming leaders this country needs. We are innovative and technologically savvy. We need to be protected by the right leaders who will lead accordingly, but our leaders are often led to positions of corruption.”
