CoE announces planned water supply interruption in Germiston

Gosforth Park, Lambton, Raceway Industrial Area and South Germiston industrial areas will be affected.

A planned water supply interruption is scheduled to take place in Germiston and Alberton areas from 9am on May 22 till 6pm on May 23.
According to City of Ekurhuleni spokesperson Zweli Dlamini, this is due to maintenance on the Rand Water J7 pipeline which feeds into the Russel Road Reservoir.
The following areas will be affected by low water pressure to no water:
Gosforth Park (industrial and residential): no water
Lambton: low water pressure
Raceway industrial area: no water
Dinwiddie: no water
Albemarle: low water pressure to no water
Germiston South industrial area: no water
Wadeville: low water pressure to no water
Roodekop Extension 31: low water pressure to no water

Water tankers have been arranged and will be located at:
Corner of Hawaii Street and Java Crescent, Gosforth Park
Corner of Hawaii and Numeral Streets, Gosforth Park
Corner of Kasteel Avenue and Black Reef Road (near The Reef Shopping Mall)
Corner of Grey Avenue and Black Reef Road, Dinwiddie
Corner of Sunstone and Brookhill roads, Castleview
Corner of Hatfield and Grey avenues, Albermarle
Corner of Halstead Road and Cheam Crescent, Dinwiddie
Corner of Jwang and Mabuya streets, Extension 31, Roodekop
Corner of Ekuthuleni and Metsing streets, Ext 31, Roodekop
