The City of Ekurhuleni released a statement to inform residents of Roodekop and the surrounding areas of a power supply interruption on April 26 from 8am to 6pm.
CoE spokesperson Zweli Dlamini said the interruption is necessary for work to be done on the power supply network and connection of an additional cable.

“Areas that will be affected include Roodekop, Roodekop Extension 11, Roodekop Ext 31, Phumula, Mapleton Ext 11 and parts of Leondale. Residents are urged to treat all electrical points as live during the time.”
