Crèche celebrates 21 years of nurturing minds

“Today, we have our private pre-primary and aftercare centre with over 200 children and 31 staff members.”

Smiley Kids Primrose celebrated its 21st birthday on March 27.

The celebration was held at the school on March 26 with a waffle and ice-cream day. Owner Hermien Kruger said she has always had a passion for children.

“It has been a journey that represented many challenges. Sometimes we had a smooth road with a beach view and other days it was like driving a scooter in a storm on a road full of potholes. Our support system and community have been amazing, and we can’t thank them enough,” said Kruger.
