Residents encouraged to use 24-hour health facilities during public holidays
The City of Ekurhuleni released a statement in which it encourages residents seeking medical health attention during public holidays to visit hospitals or primary healthcare facilities that operate 24 hours.
This is to ensure that residents are not inconvenienced when seeking medical care on public holidays.
Days that some facilities are non-operational:
Monday, 22 March – public holiday as Human Rights Day falls on a Sunday;
Friday, 2 April, which is Good Friday;
Monday, 5 April, which is Family Day;
Saturday, 27 April, which is Freedom Day.

The following Health Care Centres (CHC) and hospitals can be used and are operational 24-hours:
