Community patrollers assist in apprehending burglar

According to Sgt Styles Maome the suspect was spotted by a neighbour when he was climbing over the wall.

A suspect was arrested for house burglary and theft in Almond Road on March 3. Primrose SAPS arrested the suspect with the assistance of community patrollers.

According to Sgt Styles Maome, the suspect was spotted by a neighbour when he was climbing over the wall. “The complainant said she was at work when she was contacted and informed about someone who jumped the wall, into her property. On arrival, she found the man had been apprehended,” said Maome.

“The man confessed to taking household appliances from the complainant’s house. “Thank you to the community patrollers for helping us in reducing crime in our area,” said Maome.
