Once again the popular Christmas lights house on Hatfield Avenue in Dinwiddie encourages people to be joyful and spread the spirit of Christmas to those who appreciate the festive season lights.

Heleen Venter, the homeowner, said they have been putting lights up since 2015.

“We love the joy it brings the children and those whose appreciate it,” said Heleen.

The impressive display of lights is on every night (weather permitting) until December 31.

She said every year the lights get big and better.

“When I started I did a window display and the flower grew and I decided to also put lights on the flowers. We always look for lights we can add every year, and some I make herself,” said Heleen.

The house won first place last year for best Christmas lights in a local competition.
