That’s exactly what we thought… so the planning of a three-week road trip, hosted by popular comedian Nic Goliath, began. First things first when planning a road-trip – decide on your route. Nic decided to start the journey at the Motus Toyota Cape Gate dealership in Brackenfell, Western Cape, and ending at Motus Ford Germiston in Gauteng. 
Next, decide what vehicle you will take. Nic couldn’t decide – so he opted to visit nine Motus dealerships – test driving various vehicles along the way during the road-trip from Cape Town, through Bloemfontein and onto Gauteng. Of course, a road-trip is not complete unless you plan to visit some points of interest. While in the East Rand, Nic and his team popped in at Motus Ford Germiston picking up a car to test drive, before visiting the Rondebult Bird Sanctuary. Nic was impressed! Spanning 95 hectares, the Rondebult Bird Sanctuary comprises wetlands and grasslands. The three large pans attract almost 200 bird species, and there are eight separate, secure hides scattered around the dams where Nic got to view and enjoy the avian antics. 
After a morning of bird watching, Nic and his team headed off to The Art Farm. It has its own coffee shop, restaurant, art gallery, and winery. The market showcases a wide variety of fresh produce, cheese, delicious freshly baked goods, biltong, meat and preserves.
