Primrose community urged to be extra vigilant as crime is on the rise

Primrose SAPS warned the community and those who are visiting the area to be extra vigilant.

“We are experiencing a slight increase with theft of motor vehicles and business break-ins,” said Primrose SAPS spokesperson Sgt Styles Maome.

He said most business burglaries are happening at night while theft of motor vehicles and motorbikes are reported day and night.

“These thefts happen in central businesses and residential areas when vehicles are left unattended.

“We are appealing to our community to be extra careful, especially when they stop at shops. We urge business owners to implement strong security for their businesses since we encounter lot of burglaries during this time of the year,” said Maome.
