September 9 marked a special day for Edenvale resident Joesephine Ofori-Amankwah as she celebrated her birthday by giving back to others.

On her 40th birthday, Joesephine paid a visit to Edenvale Hospital with 84 hampers intended for mothers and their newborn children.

“A lot of children in SA are born into difficult circumstances so this is my way of welcoming them into the world and giving them something to help them.”

The hampers included nappies, wet wipes, a bible and other baby essentials which were made with the assistance of the National Council for Persons with Disabilities (NCPD).
