Primrose SAPS arrested a suspect (31) for domestic violence in Delport informal settlement on August 31.
According to communications officer of Primrose SAPS Sgt Styles Maome, the complainant alleged she was at her home when her partner asked her for money.
“She told him she had no money and he got angry. He assaulted her.

“We appeal to our community to refrain from abuse and seek help when a relationship turns violent,” said Maome.
According to the police officer, the suspect was traced and arrested.
“He was detained at Primrose SAPS and appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where the matter was remanded for plea and trial.”
