Ekurhuleni chief whip acknowledges Caxton newspapers

Ekurhuleni chief whip Clr Jongizizwe Dlabathi acknowledged Caxton newspapers in Ekurhuleni as well as Caxton Radio for their contribution to the fight against the pandemic.

Ekurhuleni chief whip Clr Jongizizwe Dlabathi acknowledged Caxton newspapers in Ekurhuleni as well as Caxton Radio for their contribution to the fight against the pandemic.

The awards were handed over to Caxton assistant editor Charmaine Slater on Tuesday last week.

Slater and Caxton editor Marietta Lombard were part of the Caxton Covid-19 Task Team, established under the leadership of Caxton national editor Irma Green, to ensure Caxton communities were updated and well informed about the pandemic since the start of lockdown in March.

This task team is still operational to ensure Caxton titles keep their respective communities informed about the pandemic on a hyper local, national and international basis.
