Residents of Primrose Sector One, which includes suburbs such as Marlands, Woodmere, Primrose East and South, will soon be able to see their house numbers more easily, thanks to the Primrose Sector One CPF.

“The street number boards, which are reflective and easily seen by day and night include the Primrose CPF Sector One logo, the house’s street number, as well as the Primrose SAPS Sector One van numbers,” explained Danica Adams, the Primrose CPF Sector One’s deputy secretary.
The aim of the boards is to assist both the SAPS and CPF to respond timeously in an emergency, as the numbers are easily visible.
“The SAPS, CPF and other emergency services, as well as family and friends can easily find your house in times of emergency or when visiting,” said Danica.
“It is hoped this will be a deterrent against crime, as would-be criminals will think twice about entering a home they know is under the watch of a local CPF.”

CPF chairperson Bradley Adams once again appealed to the community to get involved in the fight against crime in their neighbourhood.
“You can become more actively involved in the fight against crime by becoming a member of the local WhatsApp groups or by joining your local CPF as a patroller, controller or trauma support member,” said Bradley.
