Primrose police net 21 suspects

The Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

The Primrose police arrested 21 suspects between May 28 and June 2.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.

Charges included assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, domestic violence, contravening the Disaster Management Act (Covid-19 Act), possession of drugs, attempted common robbery, theft, tampering with essential infrastructure, malicious damage to property and interfering with police duties.

Primrose SAPS station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to the arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
