Landlord calls police to domestic dispute

Primrose police apprehended a suspect on a charge of domestic violence.

The Primrose police recently arrested a 31-year-old man on a charge of domestic violence.

The arrest was made after the victim’s landlord heard her screaming for help and called the police.

“She told police her boyfriend had come to her home and accused her of cheating on him,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

“The suspect was so furious that he allegedly started assaulting her, even though she tried to tell him she was not cheating on him.

“The victim further alleged the suspect pushed her against a wall and slapped her.”

This is reportedly not the first time the suspect has allegedly assaulted the woman.

“The victim told police when the suspect was drunk he would often assault her,” said Maome.

The suspect was detained at the Primrose Police Station pending his appearance in Germiston Magistrate’s Court.
