New consumer billing system being rolled out in Germiston

The billing process for Germiston customers will be affected until May 20.

The City of Ekurhuleni is in the process of migrating to a new and improved consumer billing system.

The new system will be rolled out in phases until June.

The roll-out of the system to Germiston Customer Care Centre will take place between May 9 and 20.

The billing processes will be affected during the system migration; therefore, account statements, including on the Siyakhokha website, will be delayed.

However, account payments will not be affected and all payment platforms will be available to customers.

Customers are reminded to continue paying their monthly account by the due date, as credit control measures will still be applied.

The metro has established a dedicated Siyakhokha WhatsApp number (063 306 3152) to help customers send their proof of payments and assist with credit control reconnections.
