Elspark pensioner missing without a trace

The Elsburg SAPS need the community’s assistance to find missing man.

The Elsburg SAPS are asking the community to help them in the search for Jerry Willem van der Merwe.

The 67-year-old man was last seen in Raven Street, Elspark on March 18.

Van der Merwe has a slender build, with blue/green eyes and grey hair.

He weighs 60kgs and is 1.5m tall, with a sharp nose, large ears, thin lips and missing teeth.

He has a scar on his lower back.

At the time of his disappearance he was wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt with black sleeves and khaki shoes.

He suffers from dementia and is 90 per cent deaf.
