Covid-19: CPF helps the community of Elsburg

The Elsburg Sector One CPF have handed out food parcels during the Covid-19 pandemic to those in need.

For many the lockdown has brought financial strain, and many families and individuals have found themselves wondering where their next meal will come from.

With this in mind the Elsburg Sector One CPF has been handing out food parcels during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“We have been working hand-in-hand with Ward 39 Clr Alta de Beer,” explained Elsburg Sector One public relations officer, Meleney Stassen.

“We have provided food parcels to about 200 needy people on each of the days that we have provided the service.

“However, these donations are from private donors and are not supplied by the government.

“To continue our work we will need more donations, as we can only hand out food when we receive food.”
