On what would of originally been the penultimate day of the original 21-day lockdown the GCN visited several suburbs within the city.

The journey started in Elspark and once again ended in Primrose.

In Chapman Road in Lambton the team saw a refuse collection team going about their duties.

Throughout the city motor vehicle and pedestrian traffic could be seen, but it was in the Germiston CBD as the team travelled towards Railway Street where the most people could be found.

Many of whom seemed to be going about their normal day.

It was announced the lockdown will continue until April 30.
