Primrose police nab alleged house breaker

Primrose police apprehended a suspect on a charge of house break-in and theft.

A 42-year-old man was recently arrested by the Primrose police on a charge of house break-in and theft.

The suspect allegedly broke into a home in Kennith Road, Homestead, and stole two TVs, one bicycle and clothing valued at R100 000.

The incident was reported to police by the house sitter who claimed that the suspect gained entry to the house through a kitchen window.

“After a brief investigation, the suspect was positively linked to the incident and arrested,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

“He was arrested and detained at the Primrose Police Station.

“He will appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.”
