Katlehong North officers receive their new ranks
Katlehong North SAPS station commander congratulates 25 officers on their promotions.
There was a sense of celebration in the air at the Katlehong North Police Station recently as 25 of the station’s officers were promoted.
Twenty-three constables were promoted to sergeants and two sergeants were promoted to warrant officers.
Station commander for the Katlehong North Police Station Col Raymond Buthelezi congratulated the officers on their promotions.

“I will always value the respect and trust of my employees,” he said.
“You need to wear your new ranks on your shoulders with pride, dignity and respect.
“The road to your future starts here and remember that these ranks come with new responsibilities.
“I encourage you to respect your commanders, the members you work with, as well as the community.”
He further urged the officers to serve the community with pride.
“Stay away from corruption and do the right thing even when no one is watching you,” said Buthelezi.
