Be on the lookout for suspicious vehicles

Primrose police warn the community to be careful and keep a lookout for several suspicious vehicles.

The Primrose police are urging the community to be on the lookout for several suspicious vehicles that they believe have been used in the commission of crimes in the area:

• A black Volkswagen Polo, using the cloned registration number CH 55 VY GP, is allegedly being used in the commission of crimes in Primrose East.

• A white Toyota Yaris, with an unknown registration number, is believed to have been used during robberies in Primrose.

• A silver Reanult, with an unknown registration number, allegedly being used in robberies in Primrose.

• A white Opel Astra, with an unknown registration number, is reportedly being used in hijackings in Primrose.

• An Opel Corsa bakkie, with an unknown registration number, allegedly being used in armed robberies in Primrose.

“We are appealing to anyone who sees these vehicles to notify their nearest police station,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

You can report sightings to the Primrose Police Station on 011 842 0522 or the patrol vehicles on 071 675 6864/5/6/7/8/9.
