Although accounts will be delayed, you must still pay on time says metro

Make sure you pay your municipal account on time.

The metro is in the process of migrating to a new and improved consumer billing system.

The new system will be rolled out in phases until June.

Billing processes will be affected during the system migration, therefore, account statements including those on the Siyakhokha website will be delayed.

However, account payments will not be affected and all payment platforms will be available to customers.

Customers are reminded to continue paying their monthly account by the due date, as credit control measures will still be applied.

The metro apologises for the inconvenience caused.
