Update: Power still out in some areas

Ward 36 councillor Wendy Morgan said the power is still out in a number of Germiston suburbs.

The areas affected are:

• Elsburg

• Germiston CBD

• Georgetown

• Delville

•Parkhill Gardens

The metro is busy testing to locate the fault.

Estimated restoration time is 6pm.

At the monthly council meeting currently underway at the Germiston Civic Centre the DA will be tabling an urgent motion for debate on the power issue.
