Love is in the air and what better way to celebrate than by spending time with animals.
The Germiston SPCA is holding a special Valentine’s Day fund-raiser on February 15, from 8am to 1pm.
Come along and show the SPCA’s animals how much you care.
Home-made meals will be available for you to feed the dogs – just pick your Valentine’s “date” and show you care.

Also on the cards will be the SPCA’s two barn owls who will be ready to soar on the day.
Delina Chipape, project coordinator from owlproject.org, will be doing an owl ringing ceremony and teaching guests about the owls.
The meals will be served to the dogs between 8am and 10.30am and you can learn about owls between 11am and 1pm.
The event takes place at the SPCA’s kennels situated at 12 Junction Road, Driehoek.
