In case you missed it: Delight as winner can use money to pay for his studies

Amos Chueu is the latest winner in the Caxton Local Media and PixzAR competition.

Congratulations go to 25-year-old Amos Chueu from Tsutsumani in Alexandra, Johannesburg, who could not believe it when his phone rang with the good news that he was Caxton’s next R10 000 PixzAR competition winner.

Chueu, a radio and journalism graduate of the University of Limpopo and loyal reader of Alex News, said the win had come at the right time as he was struggling to raise funds to further his studies.

“I am currently working for a security company and I was unable to raise enough funds to further my studies,” he said.

“This money came at the right time.

“I will use it for registration fees to study this year.

“Things have been hard for me and I’ve been struggling to get a job in what I have studied for over the past four years.”

Chueu who scanned a picture in Alex News, urged other readers to download PixzAR’s free app and scan to win the next R10 000 cash prize.

“I just scanned once to test the water and here I am now, the winner, how lucky,” he said.

Caxton Local Media and PixzAR are giving away R10 000 every week to one lucky reader across all of our Joburg metro publications.

Download the free PixzAR app and start scanning your local Caxton newspaper, look for the hidden button when scanning, enter your details and you could be the next lucky winner.

Ts & Cs apply.
