Primrose police pounce on criminals in their precinct

The Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

The Primrose police arrested 20 suspects between January 23 and 29.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.

Charges included assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless and negligent driving, possession of drugs, house break-in and theft, malicious damage to property, dealing in liquor without a liquor license, rape, theft and contempt of court.

Primrose SAPS station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
