Woman allegedly attacked during argument with boyfriend

Primrose police apprehended a 30-year-old man on a charge of domestic violence.

A 30-year-old man was recently arrested by the Primrose police on a charge of domestic violence.

The suspect was arrested after his girlfriend opened a case against him.

“She told police the pair had been arguing over personal issues when he became furious and allegedly began beating her,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

“She further claimed that the suspect threatened to kill her.”

Using the description given by the victim, officers were able to trace and arrest the suspect.

He has since appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where his case was postponed for plea and trial.
