Germiston police tackle crime in their area

The Germiston SAPS have released their latest arrest statistics.

Officers from the Germiston Police Station have been hard at work reducing crime in the area.

The following arrests were made between January 1 and 6:

• Driving under the influence of alcohol: 24

• Fraud: 2

• Common assault: 1

• Possession of dagga: 1

• Malicious damage to property: 1

• Shoplifting: 2

• Possession of suspected stolen property: 1

• Reckless and negligent driving: 1

The 33 arrested suspects are due to appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.
