Police target criminals in Primrose

The Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

The Primrose police arrested 17 suspects between November 21 and 27.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.

Charges included driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless and negligent driving, common assault, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common robbery, domestic violence, shoplifting, child neglect, dealing in liquor without a license and contempt of court.

Primrose SAPS station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
