The Primrose police arrested 18 suspects between October 17 and 23.
This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.
Charges included driving under the influence of alcohol, fraud, reckless and negligent driving, pointing of firearm, possession of drugs, sexual assault, possession of suspected stolen property, possession of a dangerous weapon, shoplifting, common assault, domestic violence and intimidation.

Acting Primrose SAPS station commander Lt Col André Jordaan thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.
Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
