While on a routine patrol last Monday, officers from the Primrose Police Station were called to Deodar Road to break up an alleged fight.

“When officers arrived in Deodar Road, they found three men, who all allegedly smelt of dagga,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
“The men were searched.
“Two small plastic packets containing a substance believed to be drugs were found in one of the men’s possession.
“He later allegedly confessed to officers it was drugs.”

The 28-year-old was arrested on a charge of drug possession and was taken to the Primrose Police Station.
He will appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.
