Criminals targeted in Primrose

The Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

The Primrose police arrested 20 suspects between October 10 and 16.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged with a number of different offences.

Charges included driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of live ammunition, fraud, reckless and negligent driving, pointing of a firearm, possession of drugs, dealing in liquor without a license, shoplifting, common assault and contempt of court.

Acting Primrose SAPS station commander, Lt Col Mbahazima Maswanganyi, thanked everyone who contributed to the successful arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons, while others paid admission of guilt fines at the station and were released.
