Germiston is in for another day of loadshedding.
Eskom has announced that Stage One rotational loadshedding will be implemented from 9am until noon today.
After which Stage Two  rotational loadshedding will be implemented until 11pm.
“We understand the negative impact this will have on our customers, in particular our matriculants, who are writing exams today,” Eskom said in a statement.

- Stage One
âIn this stage areas to be affected are divided into two equal load sizes to accommodate Eskom load reduction needs,â Gadebe said.
âIf the metro schedule has eight areas in a block to be affected , only four of the eight areas may be affected on day one and the other remaining four areas will be affected on day two.â
- Stage Two
When stage two is declared, the metroâs schedules are implemented in full.
If there are eight areas in a block, all eight areas will be affected.
- Stage ThreeÂ
When Eskomâs grid in under severe pressure stage three is implemented.
âStage three is completely out of the metroâs control and is implemented by Eskom to protect the national grid from collapsing and to avoid a blackout.
