Children learn important cooking skills

Hirsch’s Meadowdale hosted children in the Little Cooks Club.

Children once again had a chance to improve their cooking skills at Hirsch’s Meadowdale recently.

The Little Cooks Club inspires youngsters to have fun while cooking.

On the menu was chilli con carne and rice pudding.

“The Hirsch’s team and Little Cooks Club cooking classes taught them how to make chilli con carne, as well as rice pudding, from scratch.

“Every child was confident that they had created the best dish and couldn’t wait to start tasting their masterpieces,” said Chantelle du Plessis, public relations officer for Hirsch’s Meadowdale.

“Hirsch’s aim is to show the children the best time while teaching them valuable skills that they can use on their own.

Children enjoyed themselves immensely at the Little Cooks Club at Hirsch’s Meadowdale recently.

“We all had the most amazing fun, and seeing the smiles on the little ones’ faces warmed our hearts.”
