In a continued effort to curb crime in their precinct, the Katlehong North police held several operations last weekend. The operations, held between September 27 and 29, led to the arrest of 19 suspects.

Five illegal taverns closed in Primrose in weekend operation

In a continued effort to crack down on the illegal sale of alcohol in Primrose, officers from the Primrose Police Station hosted an operation in the Makause, Marathon and Delport informal settlements recently.

EMPD officers tackle drugs in Germiston and Vosloorus

EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit members conducted a special operation in Germiston last Friday between 3pm and 6pm. The operation then continued last Saturday in Vosloorus between 9am and 1pm.

Networking event gives women advice on avoiding burn-out

Hirsch’s Meadowdale recently hosted a dynamic Women in Business Networking event. Female entrepreneurs within the community were eager to network and to listen to Nadia Scrooby’s talk entitled “How to avoid burn-out”.
