School to hold fund-raising Superhero Fun Run

Put on your running shoes and take part in School of Achievement’s fun run.

The sun is shining and it’s time to support School of Achievement’s Superhero Fun Run.

The event takes place this Saturday (October 5) at 8am at the school, situated on the corner of Heidelberg Road and Bloemhof Street, Elspark.

The day is set to raise funds for the school.

School of Achievement is a dual-medium school with the vision to provide quality educational intervention for learners experiencing barriers to learning and development – specifically learning disabilities – within the philosophy of invitational education.

This was the first state-run remedial school in South Africa.

The school’s mission is to maintain the human and physical resources at the school in order to provide sustainable quality educational intervention shaped by the principles of transformation, equity and ubuntu – guided by School of Achievement’s values.

The Superhero Fun Run will be a day of fun and medals will be awarded to the first 200 finishers.

Food and beverages will be on sale on the day.
