Men arrested on multiple charges

Primrose police nab two men for attempted robbery and harassment in Oak Avenue.

While walking in Oak Avenue last Saturday afternoon, a woman was allegedly approached by two men, aged 31 and 48 respectively.

“The complainant alleged that one of the men began touching her all over her body, while the other swore at her and called her names,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose Police Station.

“They reportedly attempted to take her handbag, but were frightened away when a vehicle with two good Samaritans stopped to assist.”
