While on patrol in Rietfontein Road last Sunday, officers from the Primrose Police Station noticed a white Toyota Etios leaving a suspected drug house.
They followed the vehicle and stopped it.

“Police asked the 28-year-old female driver if she was in possession of any illegal substances,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
“She allegedly handed the officers a small ziplock bag containing a white substance, believed to be drugs, and a smoking pipe.”

She was arrested on a charge of drug possession.
She has since appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where her case was postponed for plea and trial.
